I started photography as a way to get outside. It started simple, wanting to take pictures of landscapes and when traveling. When I got my first telephoto lens, I decided to go take pictures of some local eagles. One trip, one single time, and I was hooked. I'll never forget that first experience of watching that eagle pluck the feathers off a duck before taking off, flying past me into the sunset. At the time, I couldn't get over the pictures I was able to capture. Now, I continually look for the next shot, hoping to push myself to create the best images that I possibly can.
